Blanche and the Fool [Red]

Last year, I started working on SoulSkin, a retelling of the DonkeySkin fairytale. I wrote the first third, roughly drafted the two others, made concept arts, etc. But something was missing, and I struggled to keep writing. Turns out that "something" was a king's fool 🤍 and I'm back on tracks. ✦ SoulSkin/Peau d'Âme is centered on: daddy's issues solved by cannibalism, fucked up fairy curses, internalized misogyny, and a journey of self-discovery through monstrosity.
